Akiva Red Triumphs in Maccabi GB’s Year 5 Girls’ Netball Tournament

Maccabi GB held their first school sport’s tournament of the academic year as Akiva Red claimed victory in the Year 5 girls’ netball tournament.

Held at Broomfield Park, 11 teams from seven schools took part in the event.

And a total of 115 players competed in the tournament which was watched from the sidelines by a further 50 spectators.

Akiva Red emerged victorious after beating Sinai Red 2-1 in the final.

Nathan Bloohn, Maccabi GB School and Sports Coordinator said: “We’re delighted to hold our first event of the year, a fantastic display of skill, sportsmanship, and passion was on show today.”
