Jerusalem-bound: Rabbi Daniel Rowe

One of the leading figures in Aish UK, Rabbi Daniel Rowe, is leaving for an international role in the Orthodox outreach organisation in Jerusalem after 25 years service here.

Rabbi Rowe, who is originally from Manchester, was recruited as a youth leader, served as executive director of Aish UK from 2016 to 2022 and has been a senior educator, more recently for Jewish Futures, the umbrella network that includes Aish.

Aish UK chief executive Rabbi Naftali Schiff said it had been “an incredible privilege to witness Rabbi Daniel Rowe's evolution into one of the most erudite, eloquent, and humble spokesmen for authentic Judaism, defender of Israel, and advocate for all Jews everywhere.

“Rabbi Rowe's move to Aish Jerusalem is a testament to his continued mission of strengthening Jewish identity and unity worldwide.”

Rabbi Rowe, who is 49, studied five years in yeshivah in Israel, has a BA in philosophy from UCL, an MPhil from Birkbeck College and is currently studying for a doctorate in the philosophy of mathematics.

He said his work with Aish and Jewish Futures had given “the opportunity to reach tens of thousands of people from diverse audiences in numerous ways, thoroughly preparing me for my next step at Aish International.”
