Olivier Award-winning musical Caroline, or Change is coming to the Hampstead Theatre in March.

The full cast has just been announced, following a "remarkable"  sell-out run in Chichester last summer.

Sharon D. Clarke is returning as the titular character Caroline Thibodeaux and will be joined by former cast members Me'Sha Bryan, Ako Mitchell, Lauren Ward, Angela Caesar, Teddy Kempner, Abiona Omonua and Vincent Pirillo.

Caroline, or Change is a Tony Kushner (Angels in America) musical with a score by Jeanine Tesori that combines spirituals, blues, Motown, classical music, and Jewish klezmer and folk music. Set in 1963 Louisiana it follows the story of Caroline, a black maid in a white household.

Caroline, Or Change runs at Hampstead Theatre from 19 March to 21 April, with previews from 12 March
