Bedfordshire Progressive Synagogue celebrates 40th anniversary

Bedfordshire Progressive Synagogue has celebrated its 40th anniversary. The celebration included a Shabbat service attended by past rabbi, Lawrence Rigal. On Sunday members socialised with guest of honour Baroness Julia Neuberger. David Young, BPS chairman, presented Baroness Neuberger with Shefford, a book which recounts how 450 Jewish children were evacuated to Bedfordshire during World War Two.
