Campus Jewish Societies in London are to hold a joint charity ball for the first time in four years as part of renewed efforts to get JSocs across the capital to work together.
The ball will be held next month and tickets are already selling well.
Adam Schapira, president of the JSoc at University College London, said: "We've been working very closely together with all the different London JSocs. We're more organised this year."
There are more than 30 universities and colleges in London, many of which have their own JSocs. Collective initiatives such as Friday night dinners have been successful in attracting students.
Mr Schapira, 20, said: "There's certainly more interest and people are more engaged in JSocs."
More than 200 students are expected to attend the ball at the Montcalm Hotel in central London. Funds raised by the event will go to Israeli charity Save A Child's Heart.
