Michelle Rosenberg is scouring the globe for stories of Jewish women

articlemain

Fascinated by women’s history, writer and PR consultant Michelle Rosenberg is planning to publish a unique book about it — but she needs your help. The Hertfordshire mother-of-two is gathering the stories of Jewish mothers, daughters, grandmothers, sisters and aunts.

She is appealing to Jewish women across the globe to trace their histories and send her their tales for publication.

“If we don’t write down our stories, they will be lost,” Mrs Rosenberg, 35, tells People. “And I imagine there are some great stories out there. With such a diverse community, I thought it would be exciting to weave together personal histories — tracing where our grandmothers came from, their values and how they lived compared to how we do.”

Mrs Rosenberg, the author of Inspiring Women, which profiled female entrepreneurs, will edit the stories, including her own, for publication and hopes to put on an accompanying exhibition.

She estimates the project will take at least a year to complete. Send your tales to her-stories@hotmail.co.uk
