NOMINATIONS

REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A

Scott McKenzie (LB) - been out for two weeks, and showed his quality today. 3 assists today. It seemed watching the Ryder Cup had inspired Macca today. Using all his clubs in his bag today!

Carl Dobrin (CM) - workhorse today. Made the most tackles today on the field by any player. Covered every bit of artificial grass at at seven kings today.

Nate Kashket (LM) - this boy is on fire at the moment. Another hat-trick for this superstar, but the most pleasing point today was Nate recovery when RJC lost the ball. Work-rate was sublime

Russell Goldstein (RM/CT) - the England Futsal international showed his class today. Popping the ball around today like he was on a futsal court. A  real pressure to see. Deserved his goals

Manager: Sam Rank and coaching team (Johan Simberg, Richard Stern and Richie Caplin)

--------------------------

FAITHFOLD DOC MM A

Avi Markiewicz (GK) - didn't have a lot to do, other than making three top-class saves all from shots from point-blank range following corners. Very brave, he was

--------------------------

TEMPLE FORTUNE

Gab Stone (left wing-back) - excellent performance, kept the job simple and made a huge impact in the second half

Jonny Cohen (right wing-back) - really pleasing to see the Fortune legend back involved and didn’t put a foot wrong

Si Cohen (S) - completely changed the dynamic of the game when he came on and caused all sorts of problems plus took a well worked goal

--------------------------

HERTSWOOD VALE

  • Jonny Kaye (GK) – winger turned goalkeeper in the absence of our usual No. 1, JK put in a stellar performance. He may not have been the busiest, but he pulled off a crucial save from a header midway through the second half that could have threatened our lead. Continuously marshalled the back four with his experience. Deserves this nomination
  • Ben Davis (RB) – Vale’s answer to Hector Bellerin. The most attacking full-back in this league without a doubt. Only Ben will know what he was doing in the opposition box to get on the end of an perfect through-ball from midfield. A real striker’s finish and he slotted the ball cooly past their keeper and into the far corner. Defensively he was strong, giving their left mid/left back very little luck during the game
  • Zach Mandel (CM) – another player playing out of position to cover our unavailability this week. Zach put in a man-of-the-match performance without putting a foot wrong the entire game. Sat just in front of the back four, sweeping up anything and everything. He won every header, won every challenge and created a number of opportunities for the team to break up the field

Josh Wood (CM) – a very solid performance in the centre of the park from Vale’s former captain. Started slowly but soon grew into the game. Caused all sorts of problems to the opposition and banged a beauty from 30 yards to give us a crucial second goal just before half-time

--------------------------

SCRABBLE FC B

Lloyd Becker (S) - match-winning double secured a stunning win over Mill Hill Dons

--------------------------

FAITHFOLD DOC MM A

Darra Rezagi (MOTM) CM - with brute strength and real tenacity controlled the game and pulled the strings for Faithfold, got a hat-trick of assists and with it the Champagne bottle

David Leiwy (RW) - another week, another another header from the five foot five winger. Heading is the least of his abilities though as time and time again he cut through Brady's defence like a knife through hot butter

Avi Garson (CM) - whilst he was on the pitch not a goal was conceded and all Faithfold goals were scored. Put in a real shift with intelligent play and was a real engine in the middle

--------------------------

SPEC FC

Zack Neiman (S) - another hat-trick, that's 7 in 4 games this season. Not bad at all!

--------------------------

LOS CAMDEN B

Sean Ekon (CM) - came on at half time to fill in at the centre of park, and what a difference he made. Great composure on the ball, switching play beautifully and constantly delivering killer passes to our forwards causing pressure on scrabbles back four which lead to his assist

Matthew Pearlman (CM) - outstanding energy and fearlessness from central midfielder. Nothing got past him all game, won every 50/50 challenge and delivered key passes that built up our first couple of goals. Excellent performance

Alon Hershkorn (S) - a successful debut from the striker, giving Los Camden an early lead with a double. Worked hard all game, causing the defence trouble whenever he picked up the ball
