The cold snap caused several postponements but this week's Select XI certainly didn't freeze on Matchday 18 of the MGBSFL.

1. YAAKOV GOLDIN (Hertswood Vale) - the former Boca Jewniors stopper "was absolutely superb" against his old club

2. MATT ZARTZ (Redbridge JC C) - up against a dangerous RC UK attack featuring Avi Markiewicz and Jonti Aremband, he didn't put a foot wrong

3. JAMES LAW (Redbridge JC C) - rock solid at the back and drove forward at every opportunity

4. TAL COHEN (Catford & Bromley) - "played out of position against Real Hendon, and had his best game of the season, winning everything

5. BRANDON SASSOON (Scrabble FC) - "appointed the new Scrabble captain this week, Brandon was like a rock at the heart of the defence and led the team superbly"

6. CRAIG PHILLIPS (Redbridge JC C) - "just immense" in a congested midfield engine room against RC UK

7. ROB SAMUELSON (NL Raiders C) - "gave his absolute maximum" against Faithfold

8. JEROME COLMANS (Catford & Bromley) - "came out of retirement to help the team out, gave his all for 70 minutes and pushed the team forward"

9. ZAC SUMMERFIELD (Scrabble FC) - "Scrabble's 'wonder-kid' was unstoppable on the right wing with some incredible runs and a powerful shot for the first goal"

10. DANNY SHERMAN (Scrabble FC) - "the big man once again was unplayable, bringing team-mates into the game constantly and scoring two fantastic goals"

11. ROB HERSHKORN (Camden Park) - two-goal hero against SPEC FC
