NOMINATIONS

MACCABI LONDON LIONS

Adam Arnold (CM) - absolutely tireless, gives everything for the team and showed today why he is such a special player

Jordan Aspis (LB) - huge performance by the left-back, winning the penalty for our equaliser and then scoring a volley to win the game in extra-time

Ed Brafman (CB) - an imperious performance at the back keeping the dangerous Oli Sade at bay all game, and showing why he captains the Lions

Will Beresford (CM) - playing out of position, and looked like a natural in the middle of the park. Kept the ball moving, kept it simple and broke up countless attacks

------------------

SPEC FC

Zack Neiman (S) - 3 goals against a team who look destined for the Prem

------------------

HENDON UNITED SPORTS

Zac Garbacz (D) - solid game at full back defensively and going forward

Ari Nevies (D) - superb against Brady

------------------

MILL HILL DONS

Sam Singer (GK) - Singer was unbelievable with the gloves today, but it was really his feet that made the crucial difference. In David de Gea-esque style he was a rock at the back and made an all important save in the penalty shoot-out to boot. Absolutely sensational, received high praise from both teams throughout. Made two point-blank reflex saves to keep the score level and commanded his box to perfection throughout

Adam Freedman (RB) - read the game extremely well throughout handled the pressure from the wing extremely well, very little got past him throughout the game

Adam Lisberg (CB) - made some important interceptions, was strong in the tackle and didn’t put a foot wrong all morning

Jamie Nagioff (LB) - superb. A threat going forward and beyond solid at the back. Made some beautiful passes throughout the game and didn’t let anything go past him. Read the game to perfection

Brandon Hammé (Manager) - Bran-dons Hammé was an inspirational leader today. Faultless pre-game preparation and tactics, team selection and inspirational talks, especially before the penalty shoot-out. His best game in charge of the Dons and we’re hoping he won’t get poached by a top division team. Showed why he has the calibre to take the Dons to the pinnacle of Jewish football

------------------

NORTH LONDON RAIDERS

Aron Gale (S) - was a threat the whole game and came away with a great goal and an assist

------------------

HERTSWOOD VALE

James Neidle (CB) – it’s impossible to keep the captain out of the headlines at the moment. A solid performance throughout, thwarting any sniff of a Faithfold attack. You won’t beat this guy in the air. Fact

Ashley Hirschberger (LB) – Mr. Vale put in another quality performance today, winning key challenges all over the pitch. With two minutes to go, pulled off a tremendous last-ditch challenge on Adam Hersh as he was about to pull the trigger when through on goal

Jordan Harris (RM/RB) – saved his best performance of the season for last. Set up Josh Gorb to grab us an early lead, before pulling back into right-back when Ben Davis went off injured. Kept David Leiwy quiet for the entire match. Literally didn’t give him a chance

Josh Gorb (LM)MAN OF THE MATCH. Considering he was without a goal before Christmas, 2019 has been the year of the Gorb with 5 goals in his last 5 games. Was at the heart of everything today. Grabbed us an early lead with the simplest of finishes, before setting up Elio to wrap up the points. Caused Faithfold all kinds of problems throughout

Jonny Kaye (CM) – a really solid performance from JK in the centre of the park. In what was a physical and congested match, his passing constantly relieved pressure from the defence, whilst looking to start an attack at every opportunity. An assured performance throughout

------------------

LOS CAMDEN A

Mike Khalatschi (CB) - put in a mammoth performance in host first game back from injury, he did not put a fit wrong and deserved to be on the winning side

Oli Brooks (CM) - although new to his Camden surroundings, stepped in and performed excellently today, Camden need to keep him fit and available

Guy Fenton (RB) - excellent against Lions, Guy won every one on one battler down the right against very tricky Lions wingers, his presence in the box caused the first goal

Kane Gilbery (S) - had the beating of his man and looked lively whenever he got the ball created two excellent chances which team-mates failed to take

------------------------

FC TEAM

Dave Cohen – assists and goals and overall high quality against Redbridge JC B
